Creekside community members should be aware of the following information in relations to the previous post regarding the Creekwood Annual meeting:
1. The lack of 10 day notice was challenged last week by a Creekwood community member.
2. The stamped date on any mail is considered the effective date in a court of law.
3. The 30 day discrepancy was discovered by AMI on Tuesday, March 11, during a conversation with the Creekwood Legal Counsel and the Creekwood President regarding the need to cancel the meeting due to the lack of 10 day notice.
4. The 10 day notice has never been challenged as a violation of a 30 day notification requirement in the existing history of Creekwood until discussed on Tuesday. It has still not been challenged. The lack of 10 day notification is what is being challenged.
The Creekwood Board will continue to work with AMI in rescheduling the Annual meeting and insure that at least a 30 day notification will be sent to all delegate voters.
